Despite occupying a key focal position on a guitar, the humbucker surround has changed very little since its introduction in the mid 50’s. Whilst mechanically serving its purpose, it’s design was largely dictated by manufacturing methods of the time.
Contemporary design & manufacturing practice is evident in every other detail of the modern electric guitar, Anomaly has used the latest technology & materials to re define the pickup surround. We offer sets of Modern or Classic surrounds, in flat or tapered options to compliment any humbucker loaded guitar.
